This place is a hidden gem. Araceli and Alonso, husband and wife, owners, are the sweetest people. Service was exceptional. All the food is home made. Delicious authentic Mexican food. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

We just finished our enchilada plates and we loved it. Everything was delicious. Menu is easy, service was fast, the whole restaurant was very clean. Our server was sweet and helpful both she and the cook told us bye as we left. Good people and good food, can’t wait to eat there again!

We were going to go to another restaurant, but it was closed, so we tried La Casita… thank goodness we did!!! We were 1st greeted with a friendly face. We asked for their recommendations and got the carne asada plate and 2 carne asada tacos to go.

It’s not on the main road, so you’ll have to drive a short distance, but it’s worth it. Make this you place to eat when you stop in Barstow! You won’t regret it!

I grew up in the IE eating delicious Mexican food from restaurants and from my grandmother's kitchen and people tend to love my cooking as well. My point being, I know good Mexican food when I taste it.
That said, La Casita is the best Mexican food in Barstow. I tried most of the surrounding restaurants and only one other comes close but La Casita is #1 for sure.
I love it, I introduced my family to it and they love it as well. Not only is the food delicious but they are kind and welcoming.
If you want some Mexican food in Barstow and don't want to be disappointed, go to La Casita!!
