Iberia is a charming Spanish restaurant on the San Mateo Peninsula. The interior features a lovely layout with a bar/lounge and dining room, perfect for intimate booths or larger groups. The food is absolutely incredible, with delicious tapas ranging from vegetables to meats, all made with fine oil and enhancers. The service is prompt and professional, and the atmosphere is lovely, with a charming, old world atmosphere. Jose Luis truly has a gem. The restaurant offers an impressive selection of wine and sangria, and vegetarian options like eggplant. The "sardines a la sal" are exquisite, and the paella is a must-try. Overall, Iberia is a gem that serves some of the best paellas and tapas, reminiscent of European cuisine, with quality of ingredients and perfect balance of flavors. Highly recommended!
