Takeout Restaurants near Belmont, CA

“Great food and excellent service“

“Diner Japonica is a hidden gem. The menu consists spectacular authentic Japanese dishes. Since the pandemic, they only do takeout, but the food is great and the portions are generous. Our family favorites are Katsu Curry Chicken, Oyakodon, and the Bento boxes (2 and 3 item). Give them a call - you'll be glad you did!“

“Delicious empanadas, and cold mate! The owner was super kind and she took her time showing me all the delicious treats they have. Fresh chimichurri too! The cold mate was a great taste too, not bitter and a little sweet. Taking a few boxes of empanadas to a bbq and sure they will love it as much as i do, so much variety. The steak one, and spinach ones were my favorites. Dont forget to finish off with an alfajor!“

“I dropped my bowl in front of bento box on the sidewalk and the manager was so cool about making another. Hands down bento box has been a staple in san mateo for years. Its me, my family, and friends go to for a delisious meal. Its not too pricy and the flavor has been the same about 20 years of my life“

“After realizing this place had no reviews, I took a leap of faith and ordered through DoorDash. To my surprise, everything was not just good but downright delicious! Plus, the prices were wallet-friendly. Definitely a hidden gem worth discovering – my taste buds and budget are equally grateful.“

“Proper Food is a great place to enjoy a fresh and satisfying meal. The food was flavorful, well prepared, and nicely presented, and the service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Everything made for a pleasant dining experience, and I would definitely come back again.“
