The owner of this cafe saved me by allowing me to charge my phone very early in the morning when my phone run out of power and I couldn’t find a power outlet all the way from the Oakland Airport to the Ashby BART station. The owner is very dedicated, friendly, and helpful. The service is warm, fast, and professional. The place is clean, tidy, straightforward, and calming. I had a very good morning here and hope to return. Thank you so much, Ada Cafe!
This place is a hidden gem for quick bites. The banh mi are especially delicious and a great value ($8). The service is always friendly and fast. It’s located right near Ashby Bart (you can get into the Bart station from the same building). I always just get a pork banh mi and it’s loaded with fresh veg, generous pork, and crispy toasted bread.
May 2021: I've always walked past this place for the past few months since I had appointments in the building, but I finally went in today to grab something to eat and I'm so happy I did. I ordered a pork bahn mi (Vietnamese sandwich on the menu) and a thai tea and damn, they're were both delicious. I didn't get a chance to take a good photo of the thai tea since I drank it so fast, it was really really good! The cafe has nice artwork on the wall and the man...
