Alborz Restaurant offers a warm dining experience with caring service and flavorful food. Known for traditional Persian cuisine, Alborz pays attention to details that make each meal special. Their Faloodeh is a must-try, a delicate slushy dessert that captures the essence of Persian flavors. The Persian tea served with loaf sugar adds a nostalgic touch to the experience. The lamb is perfect and falls off the bone, and dishes like fesenjoon and mirza ghasemi are particularly good. The lavash bread is outstanding, though the initial pita bread can sometimes be stale. Portions are generous, often enough for leftovers. The Combo Plate (appetizer) includes tomatoes, cucumber, humus, olives, onions, herbs, dolma, feta cheese, and Kash bademjan. Main courses like Gheymeh Bademjoon, Fesenjoon with meatballs, and Zereshk Polo with baked chicken are served with saffron-topped Basmati rice. Despite occasional decor issues, such as duct tape on the booth, the cozy ambiance and delicious food create memorable moments. The Turkish coffee with dessert is highly recommended, and there is often music playing while dining. Alborz Restaurant values tradition and offers a journey through Persian culinary traditions, where each dish tells a story and every sip of tea is a cherished ritual.
