Arinell Pizza Reviews
Before I would recommend them they are the greatest pizza that I’ve tasted in California but I think they’re closed so I can’t recommend this pizza place to anyone
Arinells used to be much better. It feels like they might’ve changed ownership in the last year or two. The slices used to be huge triangles and now they have become squares, and they are also half as thick as they used to be, and they were already really thin New York style. When I got my pizza the other day, it was so thin that you could pick the pizza up and snap it like a potato chip. Have been going here since I was a child, and I’m so glad it didn’t get turned into a boba shop, but I just wish they didn’t have an AI menu and posted AI ads inside. Arinell signs before were classic and homey. Good music though

Arinell Pizza is a restaurant that offers pizza by the slice, with the option to add toppings. A plain pepperoni slice is described as an okay meal, with a reasonable price point. The restaurant serves large slices, comparable to those in New York City, and the staff is recognized for their hard work and friendliness. The Berkeley location has a limited seating area due to space constraints, making it a cozy spot. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, though the interior is narrow. Reviewers mention that the pizza crust is delicious, noting that the NY style pizza is baked just right, with a thin and crunchy yet foldable crust. The balance of cheese and sauce has received praise, and a full vegan pizza was highlighted as being tasty and not sticky. While some reviewers think the prices are a bit high for California, the overall experience, including the welcoming service, has made Arinell Pizza a favorite for many, with one reviewer calling it the only true NY style pizza joint in the Bay Area.
