A standard diner experience - their pancakes are very yummy but the waffles tastes like grease! The breakfast toast (Calabrian chili plus corn cheese) is so delicious. The soft scrambles eggs are cooked with butter so that's always a plus!
Went in on a Saturday for brunch with friends.
They were very busy and did not take reservations. We sat after our full party had arrived. It was my first time here and I felt it was just okay. They didn't have a lot of options on the menu. I ordered the bagel plate and shared it with a friend who ordered the potato cakes. The bagel was good ( hard to mess up a bagel!) but the potatoes were bland.
We also stopped at the bakery attached...

Fantastic old-style diner to go for brunch. The staff is great and the food was great, but if you don't like very spicy BloodyMarys, don't order it. I recommend the California breakfast, the eggs rancheros and the late (the "bartender" is wonderful).
