Cal’s Fried Chicken and Burgers

This was the most disgusting restaurant I’ve ever been to. The surfaces of the dining room were covered with a gray, sticky-looking coating and the tables didn’t appear to have been wiped down for several days. There were overflowing garbage cans directly outside the entrance and the smell wafted through the door as we sat down. I actually can’t speak to the quality of the food because after seeing the state of the kitchen—food all over the floor, surfaces coated in grease and grime—we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat it because we didn’t want to be throwing up all night. Definitely do not recommend

The chicken strips, fries and onion rings were all soggy. I opened the order not 1 minute after they handed it to me and it was all already soggy.

This was my first time here, and I'm so glad that I visited. I ordered the double smash burger, which was delicious and juicy. The order came with seasoned fries. The atmosphere was simple, no fuss, and the service was quick.

Parking: Depending on time of day, parking can be difficult.

It was ok went Here because of @bayareafoodz but was disappointed on the flavor However it was ok at best I had the lemon pepper wings the chicken sandwich the mac and cheese and chicken and chopped cheese. The chopped cheese barely had any cheese and needed seasoning on the meat the wings were burnt with sauce the mac was pretty good though a good flavor ?

I BIG chicken thigh, lots of crispy on the outside soft on the inside fries, decent bun and sauce, pickles barley taste (good, I don't like pickles), and there was a small syrup? Packet included. So tasty and juicy. Saving for future visit.

? ?? if I could have Cals everyday and still be the same weight I would!! The chopped cheese loaded fries were DELICIOUS!!!!! The only complaint I have is I need more sauce on my double smash burger!!! Me and my hubby will be back!!!!

I seen this place on IG and decided to go. I went with my Husband and Son so we ordered a single Smash Burger, a Double and a Triple. My Husband had the single and he liked his burger but asked for softer fries. My Double and My Son's triple had burnt patties and not just a slight CHAR. The burger was BURNT. The customer service was on point. The staff were really helpful and offered to remake my order another time. The flow of customers were moderate and each seemed anxious to have their meal. I will return and hope for a juicier burger.

Had to try the chopped cheese and they didn't have the poboy so grabbed the Mac n chicken.
Mac was a lil over cooked but still tasty.
The chopped cheese was really good and the seasoning on the fries was ? will have to go back and try the smash burgers.
They were a bit busy in the back hardly saw any of the employees.

Extremely good fries and smash burger! Never had a smash burger before, but now I understand the hype -- the flavor is trapped at the center of the burger.

Pictured is the double patty with cheese, tomato, lettuce, bacon, house sauce, and spicy chipotle sauce. Highly recommend the mix of house and chipotle sauce with tomato. And it also comes with super delicious beer battered style fries that are mind blowing as well.

Do go. Top tier burger. Real hard to beat Cal's in fries and burgers.
