I’m honestly shocked at how far Chipotle has fallen. I went in expecting a decent meal and left completely disappointed. First off, they don’t even offer water cups anymore — you either have to buy a bottled drink or go thirsty. For a place that’s supposed to be casual and convenient, this feels like a petty way to squeeze a few extra bucks out of customers. It’s not just inconvenient, it’s incredibly unwelcoming.
To make things worse, the portion sizes have gotten ridiculously small. I watched the employee carefully scoop what looked like half a spoonful of rice and barely any protein into my bowl. For the price they’re charging, you'd expect a filling meal, not something that leaves you hungry an hour later. I used to love Chipotle, but between the stingy portions and the lack of basic amenities like water, I won’t be coming back to this chipotle anytime soon.

Genuinely the worst service I’ve ever received at a chipotle. The lady rushed my order so much that I felt embarrassed to ask for the toppings I wanted. Then proceeded to put almost nothing in the bowl except she made sure to put a lot of water from the beans in it that made it all soggy. THEN she pinched the foil top once in one tiny spot and put it in a bag that spilt all over me and my outfit on my way back to campus. You can’t even go back to complain because the line gets so long filling the whole store during lunch time. The food was also poor quality. If I could give 0 stars I would. Ruined and stained my clothes and was a waste of a meal.

This Chipotle skimps pretty hard, particularly on the online orders. Thinking about this Chipotle (which I do in fact do on a daily basis) makes me very sad, as it is a tale of what could have been — a glowing center of the Berkeley community with large portions of beans, pico, and guacamole, but in the rubble of these dreams we get only limp, flaccid burritos and empty bowls.
Still better value than most places in Berkeley, so 3 stars seems appropriate

Worst experience I've ever had at any place to eat. This is the first time I've ever written a negative review of a place.
I came in at 10:50, and they open at 10:45. As soon as I walk in, two employees immediately start complaining to each other about me being there. As i was standing there ready to order, they kept complaining, not acknowledging my existence. Eventually, one of them said "I'll be with you in a minute" and walked away. After waiting 5 minutes with no one acknowledging me, I walked out. I have no idea why they were so rude, especially considering that all of the trays were already freshly topped off with their ingredients, it's not like I had come before they were ready to serve food.
