Incredible wine and a truly special urban winery experience. I’ve been a club member for years, and every wine I’ve tasted has been exceptional. The events and food are consistently outstanding, and we feel fortunate to have access to a place like this locally — the kind of experience you’d typically expect to travel to Healdsburg or Sonoma for. I especially appreciate the subtle Japanese influence Nori brings to his winemaking and hospitality. Highly recommend!

I had a lot of fun trying the different Pinots in their 4 red wine tasting flight! I personally enjoyed the Sangiacomo Vineyard vintage, I tasted some pleasant, complex acidity. I hope you find your personal favorite too if you give the tasting flight a try!
It also happened to be a day with a pop-up event from a Peruvian catering shop (Sujos)! The fried corn dish was amazing, our whole party enjoyed them!

NORIA Winery is a special urban winery experience in Berkeley. It is a cool and friendly winery with a nice space that is dog friendly. The wines are exceptional, and the winemaker brings a subtle Japanese influence to the winemaking and hospitality. The wines are made to pair well with Japanese cuisine and sushi, and are delicious enough for any occasion. The Chardonnay is clean and crisp, not buttery, and nice for sweet wine lovers—good, but not too sweet. There is a 4 red wine tasting flight with different Pinots, including the Sangiacomo Vineyard vintage with pleasant, complex acidity. The owners are very friendly and explain everything about the wines and where they come from, making guests feel like they are at a friends house drinking wine. Food pairings go really great with the wines, and there are local pop-ups each weekend, like a Peruvian catering shop with an amazing fried corn dish. The events and food are consistently outstanding.
