I will say the food is authentic Italian, but the atmosphere is not the best for the price of what 2 pizzas 16inch will be.

I have been to 5 star restaurants and got more out of my experience.

Passione is an unassuming looking place off the beaten path. Inside it feels lively. A high 3 story ceiling and kitchen area open to the dining area is industrial and entertaining.
The food was a mixed bag. We started with a shared arugula salad. It was loaded with lots of tasty bits. Notably pine nuts and soft, sweet pomegranate. It was outstanding.
I should mention that the kitchen features a big red Italian wood fired pizza oven. I ordered the Margarita...

The pasta dishes are excellent. The pasta was slightly underdone at the beginning, but as you eat it, it was perfectly al dente as the extra heat took off the hardness. the quality of the pasta and the tomato sauce was outstanding and perfectly seasoned. The portion size was a little small for the price. I would still order it . We had the pizza and it was very good.
