Great lunch and good friends!
great tasting quality food!!
The place is very nice and clean. The food is not that great. Ordered a pozole rojo…in summary it was thick and salty. 2 things a pozole should not be likely as a result of heating it more times than it should have. Rice is far from being a true Mexican rice and what ever they put in the steak dinner (burnt dried pepper and garlic) well I can’t really call it authentic Mexican food.

Picante offers a range of Mexican dishes, with standout chicken enchiladas in a spicy green sauce. However, huevos rancheros have received criticism for overcooked eggs and an untraditional, overly spicy chili sauce. Tacos were found to lack seasoning, but the newly remodeled space, while losing some of its authentic character, is praised for its cleanliness and spaciousness. The restaurant serves a variety of drinks, including margaritas and beer, and has a bar with many alcohol options. Side dishes, including rice and beans, are sold separately. Although the chips are thick and a little greasy, the three dips served with them are tasty and filling. Customers have enjoyed the mole enchiladas and guacamole, with some noting the difficulty of street parking, though there is a small parking lot nearby. If the weather permits, there is outdoor seating available.
