We LOVE this place! Great food and drink. Generous portions. Sports on TV if you are interested. Bocce and other games. A very beautiful courtyard with a stately palm tree and ancient bougainvillea. This place is a Berkeley treasure! It shares the patio with another great establishment, Mezzo.
Great atmosphere inside and out but the biggest down side is their AV system, very chaotic and pretty dysfunctional.
They do not prioritise Cal games and the staff has a real difficult time controlling the AV equipment.
The owner needs to hire a professional AV company yet they have not and it makes going back not easy...

I love this place but I’ve only been here once. I came with my daughter and four children. And the children are little… From 2 to 10. I like this place because it’s the only place in Berkeley where there’s room for the children. We sat and had our meal and the kiddos could play a few different games… The noise level was high enough so that the children’s noise didn’t matter, but not too loud. Of course we came right when they opened but still it was really nice.
