Chicken pies and turkey sandwiches are great. Coffee is good. Prices are affordable

Although it’s a bakery, this is also the one of most affordable milk tea spots near Berkeley!!! And the tea is actually quite good!

Very solid bakery for Hong Kong styled bread. The price is reasonable and it's always refreshing to have authentic Hong Kong bakery once in a while.

My go to place when I need a little snack mid day or a quick breakfast when I'm running late.

Their prices are really nice and affordable (keep in mind they only accept $5 or more for debit and credit card purchase) with a great range of sweet and savory pastries. I love getting their pineapple buns and their matcha red bean pastries.

Taking one star off since their drinks aren't as good, but still a great place to check out.

The chicken salad sandwich is awesome: balanced, healthy and flavorful and the caramel latte is so good as well. 10/10 would recommend!

The place is very affordable, which carries great merit, considering that Sheng Kee operates in the Bay Area. The pastries taste great for the price. The service is relatively friendly and quick at checking out your order. The only possible concern would be the lack of preservatives in the pastries, making these pastries to deteriorate in quality fast. It was not visibly dirty either. Overall, a great place to get a quick bite.

Great spot for snacks and pastries close to UC Berkeley’s campus! This was our first visit to a Taiwanese bakery, and we weren’t disappointed. Great options for sweet or savory snacks. Everything was resealed which was convenient for takeout. Prices were fair. Check your t out if you’re in the area!

The old lady is so rude and disgusting. The system crashed when i paid with my moblie phone. She blamed my credit card destroyed her system. The young casher also told her, I just tap my phone to pay and system crashed. She kept blaming me. Although there is a payment proof in my mobile phone. She refused to give me the bread because the payment is pending. It’s ridiculous, the payment always shows pending at first. She just kept blaming my credit card and she was not helpful to solve the question. I asked if I could pay with the other working machine. She said no, because she thought my credit card would destroy the other machine too. At the end, I wasted my 10 mins, got a pending payment and 0 bread. If the old woman is the boss, I hope there will be another bakery. If the old woman is just a stuff, the boss should fire her. She has no ability to address problem. She is good at blaming costumers and killing good mood. I would never buy anything in that bakery.

super cute bakery!! everything inside is adorable, and there’s a huge variety to choose from. i decided to try the tiger milk tea—it was pretty cheap, which is nice, but you kinda get what you pay for. the taste had this weird, medicine-like vibe. not totally awful, but definitely not what i was expecting. the boba itself was decent though—chewy, soft, and perfectly cooked. i haven’t tried all the boba flavors, so i won’t trash the whole place, but there’s definitely something off with the one i had. that said, the workers were really friendly and super quick with my order, which is always a plus. i’d still recommend checking it out for sure! just… maybe steer clear of the tiger milk tea (unless you’re into that medicinal flavor or you’re a hardcore lean enthusiast 😈🐺).

Great place close to campus with 4$ large boba (if with friends), and a wide baked-good selection. The pineapple buns are definitely pretty good.

Large selection and very affordable. They tend to be sold out pretty early sometimes. Minimum $5 purchase to use your card.
