“These tacos were excellent. I had four tacos to try different meats and they were all super. Love the crunchiness of the tortilla, the taste of the meat, the grilled onions on the side. The truck itself looks super rundown, don't let that distract you from the goodness that is served. Grab a chair outside in the sun and scarf down some excellent food.“
“I had two dishes , a cup of gumbo and the Baja fish taco. Fish taco had fresh ingredients and leaned heavy into it with light sauce, delicious. Gumbo needed a bit of salt but that’s me, still found it super tasty. Out of there full for under 20 bucks was dope also.“
“Really tasty tamales with a kick! This is a cart on a one way street. Parking was easy right in front. Wanted 3 dozen tamales for a party so called to make sure they would have it and it was not a problem. $45 for 3 dozen = $1.25 each. So a nice discount from $2 each when you buy a dozen. Got pork, chicken, and cheese. My favorite was the chicken and least was pork. The pork was a bit too greasy for me. The cheese had big bits of jalapeno. Wrapped in banana leaves and moist. And it's been good reheated as leftovers a few days after. Easy to pay with a QR code - Zelle, Venmo, or cash.“
“I ordered the quesobirria tacos and they were so full of flavor, excellent quality and delicious! The 'consume' (birria soup) was a nice touch to dip the tacos in. They were crispy which added a nice crunch. I also tried the huitlacoche (vegetarian) quesadilla and was impressed by the tortilla which is corn and handmade. I recommend this Mexican food vendor. I will try the tamales next!“
“They fries are good and it's seasoned perfectly for steak and shrimp fries it's was $17 I believe which is higher then most other trucks also got a glass bottle coca-cola for like 3.50/4 which is a little pricey but tastes goodParking: The truck is parked in the same parking lot. I believe it's about 6-10 parking spots“
“Really tasty tamales! They're a bit small, reflected in the price. The corn talales were the best and the chile and cheese were also delicious. The chicken and pork were a little light on filling, but still very tasty. But the green sauce! They should bottle that stuff, it's SO good!“
“In my opinion, these are some of the BEST tamales in the East Bay (and some of the best I've had in the USA). When it comes to tamales, everyone has preferences. I know what I look for in a tamal, given that my family is from northern Mexico. Though it may vary depending where the family is from. Mexican tamales are different in various regions. So encourage you to try these tamales and see if they are to your liking!!! The man at the cart is very nice, they accept venmo or cash, and the tamales include a salsa that I am ENAMORED WITH. Try these tamales!!!!“
