“This place is an awesome find at the stonestown farmers market. Their ingredients are super fresh and everything is prepared with care and quality in mind. The kind of noodles they use are far superior to the usual rice noodles you find. They have a nice bounce and chew to them and they don't clump or stick together like at other places. I agree with what other reviewers have stated-that the prep takes some time, but I think people need to realize that good food takes time to prepare. You can't just throw everything into a pot and box it up. Having the ingredients separately means that you get to taste each component's flavor and complexity. I would def recommend this place and have tried almost everything on the menu. They have a newish pork belly broken rice that will be my next try. Their homemade sausage patties are delish!“

Mi Comedor Mexican •

“I ordered the quesobirria tacos and they were so full of flavor, excellent quality and delicious! The 'consume' (birria soup) was a nice touch to dip the tacos in. They were crispy which added a nice crunch. I also tried the huitlacoche (vegetarian) quesadilla and was impressed by the tortilla which is corn and handmade. I recommend this Mexican food vendor. I will try the tamales next!“

Leo's Hot Dogs Hot Dogs • $
2301 Mission St, San Francisco

“Excellent bacon wrapped dogs with grilled onions, mustard, mayo, ketchup & if you want, jalapeños. Only thing I wish & would make it 5 Star in my book even if they charged a buck more is for a New York-style all beef dog like that sold at Top Dog in Berkeley. Nathan's-style Brooklyn bite-the-casing type Kosher (?) dog that oozes juice. I realize Leo's is cost- conscious & their dogs are OK, especially wrapped in bacon but even if a buck more, $4.00 instead of $3.00, a dog with that fantastic flavor that snaps when you bite into it would be the best! Give 'em a try for a buck extra Leo's!“

The BAR – on Dolores Bar • $
1600 Dolores St, San Francisco

“Chill & Friendly! Came in today with a friend, and found my new go to spot. This is the most chill and friendly full bar. They are incredibly welcoming of all. You can grab a drink, watch a game, play pool, pinball, and chill and chat with friends. The staff could not be more welcoming. If you're looking for a non-pretentious, friendly, spot to come for a good drink, look no further.“

Tamales Place Street Vendors •
1299 San Pablo Ave, Berkeley

“In my opinion, these are some of the BEST tamales in the East Bay (and some of the best I've had in the USA). When it comes to tamales, everyone has preferences. I know what I look for in a tamal, given that my family is from northern Mexico. Though it may vary depending where the family is from. Mexican tamales are different in various regions. So encourage you to try these tamales and see if they are to your liking!!! The man at the cart is very nice, they accept venmo or cash, and the tamales include a salsa that I am ENAMORED WITH. Try these tamales!!!!“
