I saw someome make a TikTok about this place and immediately knew I had to add that to my list. I headed out to Berkeley on a Friday morning to try it out and I bought a friend who isnt a big fan of Thai and or Asian food. We were charmed by the decor and excellent service. Take a breath and relax as creating the food ordered takes a bit of time. We loved everything we tried in the lava egg menu and look forward to returning to work through the menu.
This is my favorite brunch place in the East Bay. I LOVE Tanzie’s. Eggs and rice are my comfort food and there is no place that does it better. Select your meat of choice (mine is the chicken sai oua) and it’s just perfect in every way. My partner and I try to go whenever we can. There’s usually a wait but it’s worth it.
