Hits the spot when you're craving vegan American food. The dishes can be heavy but that comes with the territory. Brunch is my favorite but I'm also partial to a good pancake 🥞 Sit in the back patio area for the best experience 🌞
This place is WOW! Some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had, EVER. The staff is really nice too, and they have ample seating out front, inside, and in the back outdoor space (which is super cute). They have a great selection of sandwiches, as well as sides like bacon mac & cheese, desserts, blocks of cheese & meat for sale, and more. The potions ARE big, so alas we didn’t have room for dessert. Next time. We will be going again and trying everything. 😋
There are three things I have a hard time finding in vegan versions, and which consistently disappoint me when I do find them: mozzarella sticks, Reuben sandwiches, and cannoli. I found all three at the Butcher’s Son! And for the most part, I was satisfied.
The mozzarella sticks were the weak link for me. They were too big and the cheese didn’t have much taste. They were better when they were a little cold, but not something I would order again.
The cannoli was excellent....
