Moonchild show was great. Sounds system and engineering was solid. Arrived early and street parking was available. All in all was fabulous experience
Saw Jazz is Dead with Marcos Valle last night, excellent show, great concert space. Friendly front of house staff, excellent audio. It's a great space to get up close to your favorite artists. The wafting 420 smoke was problematic as I was seated in the first set of seats above the open floor. It challenged my sobriety, I had to move elsewhere. Stronger vent system maybe?
Pretty good venue with good views. The front area is large and almost feels like its own theater. Drinks prices are a bit high and exiting is fairly slow.

The UC Theatre Taube Family Music Hall is one of the best venues in the bay area, known for great concerts and indie artists. The venue stays true to its community roots, with decent prices and friendly staff ensuring a clean and pleasant environment. Though seating can be limited and drinks may be expensive, the shows are extremely enjoyable, featuring top-tier curation. The Berkeley Music Group, a nonprofit, revived the venue in 2016 after its 2001 closure, adding to its special charm. Whether for the energy, the dream-like atmosphere, or the well-made drinks, the UC Theatre remains a beloved spot for live music.
