Really good matcha, amazing actually 😋. Would give five stars if there was a vegan mochi donut option but there isn’t 😭 At least not when I have gone in. The people working are nice but not overly so.

Very creative and authentic at the same time. For some reason this is not that popular as it’s not around UC Berkeley but its snack and drink is worth 5 stars! No need to travel to Asia, just stop by here to grab some matcha muffin!

I love this place and go out of my way to go here. The matcha is the best I've had outside of Japan and the sesame mochi muffin is my favorite. I buy the matcha to make at home. It's high quality and tastes delicious.

No tables here, but we don't care. I am addicted to their Ceremonial matcha lattes (served hot). And their original muffins -- the first shall be best!

I was a huge fan of the mochi waffles which were crunchy on the outside, chewy inside. Now it seems they are made in advance and popped in a toaster. So not warm or toast anymore. Just kind of gummy. The last two visits were underwhelming. Please Third Culture, up your game. I’ll check back in a few months.

Donuts were not impressive. Drinks were great though.

Was excited to go when I heard it was dedicated gluten-free but the fact that they said they had no vegan options made me feel very excluded
I go here whenever I am in Berkeley and it’s always amazing. But I recently dealt with the worst employee, some white dude taking orders. He got my order wrong and I usually wouldn’t trip but when I told him, he didn’t care AT ALL. I am VERY sensitive to milk, so I usually get oat. Drinking milk would have ruined my whole day off. I also saw him get some other orders wrong. Felt bad that the other employees I usually see had to remake drinks.

During my trip to the Bay Area, I was on the hunt for good matcha. I tried a few places, but most didn't quite hit the mark—until I found this gem! I'm happy to say this spot is solid, and we even went back a second time during the same trip.
The matcha drinks are great—sweet, but you can still really taste the matcha flavor. I absolutely loved the Strawberry Lychee Matcha—it was my favorite! My partner tried the Guava Roasted Matcha, one of their seasonal summer drinks. He found it a bit too sweet for his taste, but I actually loved it too. On our second visit, he went with the classic Matcha Latte and really enjoyed it. if you're not into sweet drinks, I'd recommend sticking with their standard matcha latte—it's well-balanced and delicious.

The guava/whipped cream waffle special is phenomenal
Love this place! The mochi donuts. To die for. The mochi bread pudding to sin for. The roasted matcha to take home. All so good
