10/11/2019 Rating: it's more of a 3.5/5 After the fire, this place has finally re-opened one year later. Came during the soft opening so it's not a definitive and complete review. The menu offers a variety of unique fruit teas and boba. I got the specialty, the Secret Garden. There are little chunks of mango and strawberry in the drink. Tzone of Berkeley; another boba shop that is super close to campus, and there to serve the boba cravings of the student population. So far I've been here a couple of times; the first time, I got their Blueberry Taro drink (iirc), and that was REALLY good. Though the taro flavor wasn't very prominent, the blueberry flavor was on point. That said, the second time, I went there, I was a bit disappointed to not see it on the menu. After class I was looking for something to cure my sweet tooth. I stopped by TZone and tried out their matcha latte. OMG it was so good!! The matcha flavor was strong just how I like it. I expected it to be sweeter but it was just right. They have so many snacks too! I'll definitely be coming back soon to try them!
