Oh my heart - how did I not know about this bakery before 🌟 it’s probably a good thing that I no longer live a couple of blocks from it otherwise I’d have to size up my entire wardrobe. Tried the cheesecake, salted egg yolk cookie, almond meringue and the amazing egg tarts … everything was delicious with a dash of the kind of pixie dust that comes from love, talent and artisanal care 💖

I’m here almost every Sunday. Patty does not miss. Rice balls, cookies, cakes, biscuits, hand pies, bread. It’s all unique and delicious. I’m a night owl so I’m often one of the last customers after everything’s been picked over, but I’m thankful for whatever I can get 🤩 and I’m happy people are supporting this place so I can keep eating these pastries for years to come.

Best egg tarts in the state! Also have really innovative Asian fusion pastries that are flavorful and well baked, the lamination on the Chinese sausage & chive biscuit is perfection

Yum yum! Delicious treats for this Sunday popup. Gotta have the egg tart

Seriously the best bakery in an area full of great bakeries! Everything I've tried is outstanding: the still-warm Portuguese egg tarts, the sesame chocolate chip cookies (perfect combo of crisp and chewy, sweet and salty), the Japanese cheesecake is a slightly sweet, vaguely cheesecake-y cloud of deliciousness. I wish they were here more often than once a week!

Absolutely delicious & creative baked goods that everyone should be going after! The bostock in particular is my favorite, along with the pickled mustard greens focaccia.

Everything I’ve gotten has been delectable. Shared a few of the sesame caramel (?) chocolate chip cookies and everyone agreed top cookies of their lives. Love the creativity and care put into of all the items! A wonderful Sunday stop and such friendly and sweet staff!

INCREDIBLE egg tart

a cute Taiwanese family uses Morell’s bakery to experiment on Sundays. One of the daughters works there. The egg tart is to die for. Consider it as a special weekend vendor at a Taiwanese day market. :)

This spot is a hidden gem! I love the unique flavor pairings, including the chili + pickled greens focaccia and the black sesame bostock. All of the staff are so kind and welcoming, and there are a few standing benches outside if you want to enjoy your baked goodies right away. Highly recommend stopping by!
