Second time coming here . First time was for breakfast and it was ok . Decided to come back for dinner since there was such good reviews for lunch / dinner . Ended up very disappointed . We order pepperoni and jalapeño pizza its tasted like frozen pizza . Jalapeños were just added on top as if they forgot we had ask for it . We also got fettuccine, sadly it also tasted like store bought sauce . Next we got the carne asada fries , fries were a bit salty ,I have never had carne asada fries with only mozarrella cheese it definitely needed something else to give it flavor .There were Nothing special about them . We also got the potato skins , compare to the French fries on the carne asada fries these seemed to have no flavor ( no salt ) . Sadly I think the best part of the meal was the bread they bring before your meal. We ended paying about $80 plus a $10 tip, server was nice . But we have felt warmer welcomes in town from other restaurants in big bear .

Wow! Such a wonderful addition to Big Bear! The food is absolutely delicious! We had the Sea Bass and the Chicken Jakobes, prime rib vegetable soup, crème brûlée and lemon cake. Such a nice experience. This old building has been very nicely remodeled. I loved the cozy atmosphere. I never leave Yelp Reviews but just had to for this outstanding restaurant. Very kind waitress, also. Thank you, Yesenia! Highly recommend.

We came up to Big Bear for possibly the last good ski weekend. Saw Jakob’s high ratings, but few reviews. Well, I can confirm our breakfast was delicious. I had country-fried steak, and my daughter had eggs benedict. Both were super yummy!

I was super excited for their pasta! HOWEVER, I ordered a chicken parm with penne.. And instead, the waiter served me angel hair. I asked him why I got angel hair when I asked for penne, and he just LOOKED at my pasta, made a sound, and walked away. I sat there shocked. I bit into my pasta bumfuzzled since I was very hungry. And to my horror my pasta was WARM!!!!! I'm a huge foodie and I've worked plenty of hospitality jobs. This is not how you service your customers! I don't like giving negative reviews but this needs to be addressed by the owners. ***UPDATE*** I asked him one more time and mentioned the review. He brought out the right order and it was hot! Hallelujah. *Update 2* they charged us $10 to pay with card. Thankfully we had cash on us.
Incredible. Absolutely incredible. My boyfriend and I stopped by here for dinner on our last day of our vacation and we were not disappointed. He had the linguini with clams and mussels and I had the lasagna. We also split the appetizer sampler and everything was absolutely delicious. The vibe of the place was so cozy, we felt at home. There was only one server but she was very attentive and sweet. We will definitely be back!

After a long drive to Big Bear on Friday I was pretty hungry, while the friends were away I decided to eat at this spot since it was fairly close to our cabin. Ordered the 8 oz steak with shrimp scampi which was pretty good. Came with bread and soup. The female employee answered all the questions I had and explained the menu to me, she made me feel welcomed. This place is a little cozy place to get a bite. Definitely going back next time I'm around.

The food, service and ambience are all amazing. Good quality healthy food. Steaks, chicken Caesar salad, kids menu. Cozy fireplace. Veggies. Good wine selection. It's my new fav place here.

This food was wonderful. We got the fried sampler, fettuccine pizza, and shrimp fettuccine. It all tasted incredible and came out so fast. The clam chowder was BOMB and the servers were so friendly. It felt like we were eating in someone's living room and it absolutely felt like a family restaurant. So so good plz eat here
