I had my service animal with me, lady that works there was smoking a cigarette and requested all my paperwork, to which is totally illegal. We were just about to get some food for take out. Not coming here ever again.

First night in town, we ordered two burgers for takeout. They were literally frozen beef patties that had zero flavor and were extremely dry. Burgers were ordered medium and received both well done. We will never order from here again. Waste of money.

This was a little bar and grill outside the more touristy area of Big Bear lake. I’d considered this a dive bar, but they do serve food that was actually pretty good. The service was nice and our bartender/server was friendly and accommodating. It wasn’t too crowded, but they have plenty of seating as well as TVs and a pool table. The liquor selection is pretty limited, but they do have a range of beers, including some local brews. The food was pretty good too. We had the Caland burger and the hot national Asheville chicken sandwich. I like the burger better, but they were both pretty tasty. They ran out of fries, but made salads instead, which was a lot better than I expected. Overall, if you want to get away from the touristy part of Big Bear, make your way over here for ann off the strip dive bar experience.

Nice pub, Nashville chicken sandwich was the worst I ever had, compared to daves hot chicken and chicken fill a , worst chicken sandwich than popeyes
Mac and cheese uses (craft sauce fake mimic cheese) instead of real cheese.

Worst bar in Big Bear. Don't go there. No stock, no wine, the taps don't work, no light beer and the staff has a bad attitude.
Great little hometown bar and grill If you’re in the area, totally worth stopping in and checking things out :) Great staff, bartenders, and the people who come here are totally themselves. I came up here with my friend from OC and made acquaintances with not only other visitors from OC, but locals in Sugarloaf and travelers from out of state! My parents who are in their 50s and 60s love this place too, as it’s stumbling distance from their cabin
Worst restaurant experience. We were not locals. They were busy and told us to seat ourselves but then forgot about us. After patiently waiting, we checked with staff who told us to continue waiting. Meanwhile people walking in were being seated. After 2 whole hours they finally took our order, and at that point, we told them we would take the food to-go. When the food finally came out, they didn't even bother handing it to us until we asked for it. We spent 2.5 hours there before walking out with our order. All this is to say, if they are busy and don't know you, they will ignore you while tending to their buddies.
