Disability access from back is barricaded.Rats and raw human feces from open raw sewage.Smell in restaurant, for months, is from where they removed toilet downstream of restaurant, and left raw sewage exposed for months. When rats nested in the open sewar line, human feces from Manuel Astorga hunself, the only one in the restaurant at the time, flowed up and out. Mr. Astorga then left his own feces exposed for months, claiming "I don't smell anything". Yes, this really happened!!!Family is buddies with Inyo County health inspectors, who give them top ratings even with rats near food, raw sewage, unrefrigerated meats, and expired dates on food.

The salsa is made in house and was excellent. I Tried the Mexican hot wings, and they were fantastic. The sauce is made in house and has a nice kick to it, get the sauce on the side so it isn't too spicy. Chicken enchiladas were good too.

NO VEGETARIAN OPTIONS. That’s my headline. We ended up not eating there, because of it. Even the Veggie Burrito has lard in the beans and chicken stock in the rice. At least the waitress was good enough to tell me. Cheese quesadilla would probably be their only vegetarian offering.

A friend of mine told me about this place because they have live music on Friday and incredible fajitas. It did not disappoint. The service was fantastic. The Ultimate Cadillac was delicious! The fajitas were perfectly cooked and so flavorful. I don’t know how this does not have 5 stars. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if in Bishop. Will definitely be back.

Excellent food and service! I had the combination two shredded beef enchiladas withe rice and beans and it very tasty! The salsa and chips before my donner arrived were also very good and fresh. If you enjoy good Mexican food, Astorga's will not disappoint.
