This pop-up cafe at a local coffee roaster in Bishop is only open on Sunday's, 8-12. It's an artisan underground spot that's been growing from word of mouth. Very different from the regular coffee house trend and not your classic espresso/Italian drinks. I saw that the shop is only open on Sundays, so I stopped in to get some local beans, and explained my slightly unusual need for a 50/50 blend of decaf and regular beans. Not a product that they keep on hand, but Gunner(the owner, I believe) was willing to make me a custom blend and I walked out with a pound of beautiful looking and smelling beans. Came from LA to do the Little Lakes Valley hike and I was so happy to have found this place. All of their jams are local and delicious - we tried peach jam on a cheese danish. The coffee does take a while but it was worth every minute. Will definitely be coming back!
