Fantastic in every way. The location, the vibe of the tap room, the service, and of course the beer. Excellent on all accounts. Very much well worth the stop if you're in the area
Our go to spot for a cold beer and a burger after a day of adventuring in the Eastern Sierra! The homemade sorbet is great too!
The burger i ordered was pretty bad, dry, not much flavor. Tasted like a freezer burnt kirkland patty. The chicken in the chicken sandwich was drier than death valley, nearly inedible. Fries were decent. Very very underwhelming. Very very overrated.
Visited here two days in a row early September '24 and initially found the brew, food and atmosphere to be a solid product with nice ambiance, picnic table seating and good company. But, the second visit, a woman drops off four high energy children at my table and she disappeared. The kids were playing cards that evolved into screaming food fight, with no adult in sight. They 'evicted' all the adults at the table within minutes and used the bar as a child would use a playground. Seriously, what kind of parents bring preschoolers to a microbrewery? You need to drink that badly, then leave the kiddos at home or get a sitter. Maybe just don't have children if you aren't up to attending to them. No way an adult should have to adjust their evening due to unattended children. Otherwise, I'd leave 5 stars, but was really turned off by the lack of respect the children and parent had for other patrons. Not sure if I would recommend or not. Generally drinking establishments are for adults, not children.
Yes, a bit of a "tourist tax", but the food is really exceptional, all the people working there are really wonderful. Artisan buns (not a trace of irony) on excellent burgers. Where do you get a side salad that you would rate as excellent for $2.50? Yes, seriously, this place. Best beer this side of June Lake brewing. Ask for tastes (no charge). They could spruce up their patio a bit, and offer EV charging (but there is a Tesla charger only a block away).
Good beer and nice people...that's all we need. Thank you very much!
Food was good, service was great, and Beer really hit the spot. Great place to unwind.
I've had brownies all over the world, this is one of the best(and extremely rich!) brownies I've ever had. It was so good I had to come back a second time and order it again.
The beer and burgers are good too.
Good food, great beer, reasonably priced, and games to keep you entertained... whats not to like. Perfect spot for dinner and a drink of you end up in Boshop overnight, or just passing through ?
Surprisingly good beer for a small town brewery. In general I find small town breweries aren't as good as ones in larger metros (I feel the opposite about food) but these guys do it well. For one they aren't afraid to brew something other than an IPA, pale ale, or stout. I love their two Belgian beers. Also the food is surprisingly good for a spot like this. I got the Rambler Burger and was very pleased. Quick efficient service

Nice atmosphere
Food is good and so is the beer
Great food and beer! Came here several times during our time in Bishop. Lots of vegetarian options! The veggie burger and the green and blue salad were delicious!
