“We stopped by the Villager for breakfast while in town for the weekend and it's such a great spot! This was our first time there and we were definitely impressed. The ambiance and service are great and the breakfast menu was huge. My son ordered the breakfast burrito and it was gargantuan! We all loved our food and the cozy front booth we were seated in by the window was perfect. We will definitely make this a regular stop while in Lake Arrowhead!“

Back patio hosts live music with some pretty decent bands to boot. Staff is always friendly and attentive. “It's a charming, mountain lodge-like setting, surrounded by trees, fireplaces lit. The lobby fills with guests, awaiting the 6:30 pm start time. On cue and en masse, servers enter the lobby and escort large parties of guests into the dining room, with great efficiency (key word). The large groups appear to be students from graduate school programs; others may be large family gatherings. The menu is largely prix fixe, the only choice being the entree: beef or chicken, and the servers are cheery and, yes, efficient. Large trays of food pour forth form the kitchen. It's clearly pre-prepared: the soup is luke warm at best, the salad is pre-dressed; both still taste "OK". The entree is the weak spot: the beef is pretty dry and flavorless, saved only by the sides of veggies and mashed potatoes (the chicken is reportedly "fine"). No options for wine or beer with the meal. The dessert is some bland pudding. With the efficient serving, the entire meal takes 30 minutes; we could have stayed longer, but the large parties of students were a bit too lively for our tastes. No tipping allowed, which is a shame, since the service was cheery and so... efficient.“

“I came up here for my honey moon for 6 days and went to every breakfast place we could, we had this place our last day and it was the best and cheap, my wife got the cabin burger and it was big, juicy, and everything on it paired well together, I got the country fried steak and the crust was perfect snd steak was tender, the coffe was pretty good.“
“Amazing Chile Rellenos!!! Damn, I'm craving one now. The Basura burrito is a life changer, for better or worse. We have NO REGRETS! Just for the sheer size alone and comedic aspect (it had us rollin all night whenever we'd glance over and realize we still had to finish it). This entree made our trip extremely memorable. They don't mess around with the quantity of pork and goodies they jam up in there. You must spiritually prepare for something like this, but you will be enlightened afterwards. GODSPEED! & get it wet, for sure. Half roja half verde. Service was ehhhh but it's not really about anything else but the BASURA!! Naw but really, don't skimp on the freakin salsa when we have a 10-pound burrito to take down. & smiling always helps :)“
“Went along for a relatively early dinner- the staff were excellent and friendly from start to finish. We had multiple people look after the table, without ever being intrusive. They were chatty, without being overbearing, and their recommendations were much appreciated. The food was great, simple but effective fare. “The way world outreach is a great church. I highly recommend this church. Pastor Marco and Pastor Liza make sure they have a welcoming church and the environment is welcoming. They make sure that people get a chance to give their life to Christ. They have a great youth and kids ministry. They have youth conference ( I also recommend). Every year in the summer. The church make sure it is fun but youth also get to know Jesus and get closer to him. This year at confrence a lot of youth got set free from anything. There were Demons getting casted out, people getting prayed for, food, games, dj's, and praise and worship. It's very fun.“
“An excellent restaurant for a nice dinner. Their steak and fried are both very good. The best though is their cheesebread and dipping sauce, which is a house made marinera. Literally the best I've ever had.They also have a good selection of wine and the staff is very friendly. We visit here periodically and have enjoyed it everytime. Hopefully they will have some new things on the menu to try next time.“
