I’ve driven by here numerous times on my own but the few times I came into town on the FlixBus… I knew then I had o check the place out. I was on FlixBus break time so there were no excuses.

When I walked inside it was nice to see how clean it was. Now, I can’t confirm the place was spotless, but it was clean enough for me not to be offended. The menu and layout is what is typical of a Subway establishment without the Subway logo and the staff appears to be a family team.

The variety of sandwiches I have tried have been absolutely delicious but they have been light in the meat. Rationing is what it felt like much I just tried to put it past me since alternative choices are far and few. Why complain?

I kept coming back on each bus trip and each visit here has been consistent. I’ll probably be back again and I would recommend you give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Was on a greyhound bus going home from a major disappointment in life, not sure of anything, and i ordered the chicken enchiladas and i must say some of the best enchiladas ive had in a long time even cold cause it took me a min to eat but still yummy. And very affordable at like $6”

“Doing the Race across America 🇺🇸 our team crossed through Blythe Ca. This path happened to send us to this delightful little restaurant called Steaks and Cakes. This restaurant has been open for 47 years by an old Marine Corps gentleman. The atmosphere for absolutely welcoming and the food was excellent. Our serve was a very sweet young lady that treated us as customers should be. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that is in the vicinity.”

“Quick little lunch break on a long road trip. It was off the beaten path, but this cafe was MUCH better than stopping at a chain restaurant right off the highway! I'm sure it would have been a way better experience if we went when the temp wasn't over 115°F, but when it cools down we will probably be back to eat and golf. ?”

“I love how hot and fresh the food is always delivered to the table when covid19 isn't dictating our lives and even for pick up! Nice and hot! I love the new packaging too and that the sauce can be either on it or off the dish. I even got the cashier/server to smile when I thanked her for being open again.
