“These are some of the best donuts on the San Marcos....actually in North County. I stick to San Marcos/Escondido area for donuts, but Crispy's really is a treat. These donuts might be some of the fluffiest that you can find. Even the next day they were still super soft. They have a really good variety of donuts readily made. Our favorites are the chocolate, crumb, maple and cinnamon rolls. All the donuts we had were delicious. They even have some tasty looking cronuts too, but I still have not had those yet, Depending on the time you show up there is ususally a short line, unless its that price 8-9am hour on the weekends. They are quick and friendly, with some space inside with some tables to chow down your donut. The store is in an older shopping center of Rancho Santa Fe, but that doesn't really matter since the donuts are A-grade. We come in from the opposite side of San Marcos, and they are worth spending the extra gas to get these fluffy donuts.“

“I have been been indulging in donuts my whole like many others surely. First off, every family owned shop are staffed by friendly and really loving people. And in a lifetime of donuts this place comes with the friendliest welcoming bunch I’ve ever experienced. “I don't usually eat donuts often but we buy donuts for the office since they are so close to the Vista/Carlsbad industrial business park. These are so well made that I had to post to let everyone know. They do such a great job. The dough is from scratch and you can tell from the first bite. Its worth the drive from anywhere in Vista or nearby. The prices are great too!“

“The donuts were fine. The ham and cheese croissant was really good. After two bites into the croissant, I still hadn't found any ham or cheese but finally, near the middle, I found the goodness. And it was very hammy and very cheesy and very good. Note that they DO take credit and debit cards but ONLY if you order at least $10 worth of food and/or drinks. If you fail short of $10, the pro move is to order donut holes until you hit $10. Fair warning. Excellent croissant, good donut.“

“Yummy donuts!!! Skip the coffee though ;) We stopped in on a rainy, brisk day and grabbed some warm, freshly-made donuts after a walk on the beach....they were delicious! The donuts are the more dense, cake-like, type which is my favorite. The coffee was not up to par with what you'd expect from a donut shop, so that was a little disappointing but otherwise...I highly recommend it!“

“Blueberry donuts are cool, but pistachio donuts are a Vista staple. I will always have room for these babies whenever I visit. It is a cute spot with walk up window ordering and a couple of outdoor tables. Not sure about parking because we usually walk all over downtown pretty easily. I have yet to try a chorizo breakfast sandwich but it is definitely on my mind. If I had my way, I would just make an excuse to come back for any meal of the day.“

“I've lived in Vista going on 5 years, this has always been my go to Donut Shop. I'm a simple man, while their more fancy donuts with cereal and what not are great, their more traditional donuts are damn near perfect. Can't forget their breakfast sandwiches some of my favorites around here. Service is great they're always very attentive once you walk through the door.“

As we entered we were greeted by a friendly "hello" by the young lady behind the counter. She was friendly and polite as she took our orders. Donuts were fresh and fluffy and the coffee was hot. The devils food donut my wife got had a nice crunch to it, indicating fried perfection! My maple bar was light and mapley....if that's a word. The inside of the shop was clean and tidy. As we left we heard a warm "thank you" from a man in the back, I'm assuming the owner. A good spot to visit if you crave tasty donuts!“

“Mr. Donut is a hole in the wall donut shop. I really like their croissant breakfast sandwiches. My boyfriend said classic glazed was good. I tried their sprinkled cake donut and the cake was moist! Customer service was great! I didn't even have to tell the owners to cut the sandwich in half because they already did!“

These are some absolutely delicious creations. You could tell she truly puts her heart and soul into these donuts. Plus I have to say as someone who has diabetes and can't normally can't enjoy traditional donuts. It's great there's a sugar free AMAZING treat I can enjoy. These with a ice cold glass of milk or when I want to sin my soul.. Rite Aid butter pecan ice cream with the coffee or mint n chip crumbles of the triple chocolate OMFG YES!! Definitely can see this in multiple locations in Southern California cause of what they offer, the quality, the care of the product and I think they would do great in Del Mar or La Jolla. Now I want to make this clear this isn't your traditional describe these lite, fluffy, not overly sweet but right and honestly they a piece of little heaven. I normally went to go get 1-2 but cause I was in a good I got some for my coworkers. They absolutely enjoyed them and they were like.. so when are you going to bring more in? It wasn't a fake overly happy person but chill and friendly. More chatty than most donut shops. Just randomly thought of all the pink and wanted to yell DIPSET lol cause if you know CamRon use to wear all pink. I might need to get a hoodie next time. “Sam’s donuts have the best Apple fritters and cinnamon rolls around this area!! We tried others in Oceanside and nothing compares!! We’ve been coming here since 2010. We had moved to Texas back in 2018 and couldn’t find Apple fritters like Sam’s Donuts!! We were very disappointed! “Super Donuts is great! It is cash and venmo only and quite affordable! The pistachio lemon donut was so unique, fresh, delicious! Perfect balance of flavor which is hard to do with lemon flavored desserts! They also have standard donuts and a few speciality ones like this. “Close to the grandkids house for a Saturday morning treat. Easy parking with a decent selection of donuts. We ordered a dozen mixed and added dozen donut holes as well. Kids enjoyed the sprinkles and jelly donuts. The donut holes disappeared quickly right before our eyes. Cost is about the same as other shops and service was great. Oceanside Donuts will be part of our rotation moving forward when we bring treats for the grandkids. Easy 4 stars.“
