“Vanessa is so kind to me everytime I come in, she's always greeting me and asking me hows my day? I also notice when she's working, the food is always fresh and hot, chicken is perfect, its not burnt. I come here just because how amazing the service is and how great the food is. Vanessa hooked me up with a free chicken leg. Usually you never recieve service like this from a fast food place. I feel like this el pollo loco is passionate about making the best chicken. “Went for my birthday and i am more than pleased. The food, service and resturant was all amazing. There were options for all people who may have diet restrictions. My 7 year old had a great time with the chicken wings and the octopus and shrimp sushi. The ramen was super good and the eel was amazing have 0 complaints and i will be returning here very soon as often as i can!“

“We had an amazing time here. The food came out pretty fast and it all was so delicious. There’s a game you can play when you first order and if you manage to stop the timer on exactly 10 seconds you get a free combo. I didn’t win but I thought that was such a fun addition to the experience. We ordered a lot but my favorite was the spicy chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese and pickles. It sounds insane but was pretty spicy and didn’t taste damp or dry, it was literally perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough!“

“Absolutely smackin'. Always love some good chicken and I like how Dave's has spice levels so you can choose how spicy you'd like your chicken. Food was absolutely amazing and the loaded shake was great as well.

“So excited to find this place. It’s been a favorite for a long, but didn’t know one was so much closer than the Downey and Long Beach locations. Haven’t had a bad meal yet, and my favorite is the Garlic Twister. And the service here is very friendly“

“Each table had a tablet to place your order. We always order the same items. Kim chi fried rice and soy garlic bone in wings.

The tablet showed soy garlic as being “sold out”. We were about to walk out to go somewhere else but decided to ask and they said they have it.

Bb.q wings are always consistent. They were flavorful and crispy. The Kim chi fried rice was tasty and had cubes of spam.

The atmosphere was lively with a jumbo big screen showing BTS music videos.“

“I love this place! Its so far from me and my friends enjoy going on the weekdays so its a mission that i dont make too often.

I love their sauced up options. Boneless and bone-in. My friends prefer the seasoned over sauce.

Recently ordered 4 options: 2 boneless- 1 with sauce, 1 without, and 2 bone-in: 1 wjth sauce and 1 without / for a party. It traveled 1 hour, sat outside for 3 hours, and I took some back home with me. Air fried it and its so soft still, 1 and 2 days later. Everyone loved it! We had 25 people and there were like 4 bone-in and 6 boneless left. (Potluck style yknow)

“Never been to a Dave’s Hot Chicken before, but this is my niece’s favorite fast food restaurant so it was suggested we come here for lunch.

I was not hungry so just split a chicken tender and fries with my sister, while the nieces and nephews ordered their own combos.

The chicken tender I ate was good, would considered trying it in the future. It was definitely better with Dave’s Hot Honey, which I think is the same brand we order a gallon at a time for work with our banquet orders.

Quality whole pieces of chicken and good spice blends, I can taste why it is a favorite. The fries are decent on their own, but next level with Hot Honey or Dave’s Sauce or Reaper Ranch.

Price point is higher than a McD, but quality is also higher. Worth it for the quality received.

“The girlfriend and I just moved here and checked this place out as it was close to home and had great reviews.

I had the smash burger and she had the chicken sandwich; both were delicious and the fact that they offer sweet potato fries is a plus. Extra points for the ranch, which was some of the best I’ve had and I never have ranch with anything.

Bartender didn’t have what I wanted but suggested an alternative and we both liked it.

The place is a vibe and definitely worth checking out.“

“Another great KFC from bb.q. Have to eat fresh. Crispy on the outside. Soft and tender meat. They do it right at this location.
Just watch out for any spilled sauce from the box. Bought 2 boxes. 1 small 1 medium. The honey garlic sauce leak from the box. I think the aluminum foil is broken or short one edge. Service is typical. Thus we order pick up.“

“Super friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. The chicken was crispy and juicy. Salsas are definitely worth a try! Food was served straight to our table within 5-10 minutes after ordering. The staff was so helpful in picking out deals and coupons. I highly recommend this place. The prices are low, and just a great establishment overall.“

“I get the spicy deluxe chicken sandwich and I ask for extra slices of American cheese. I do get the Chick-fil-A sauce so that I can dip the sandwich into it, but if you are in the mood for an even spicier sandwich, I would go with the zesty buffalo sauce! 5-stars for food and service!“

“I am disappointed to see that this restaurant automatically adds a “staff tip” to pickup orders placed online. A tip should always be a voluntary appreciation from the customer — not a forced charge disguised as a tip. When I am doing all the work — driving to the restaurant, picking up the order myself, and receiving no table service — there is absolutely no justification for a mandatory tip.

It feels manipulative and dishonest to sneak in nearly 10% extra without a clear and upfront explanation. Customers should not have to fight through hidden fees or feel pressured to pay more than the actual cost of the food just to complete an order. This constant push for forced tipping is exhausting and is becoming one of the most frustrating parts of dining in the U.S.

A restaurant should respect its customers and allow them the freedom to choose whether or not to leave a tip. Being forced to pay a “tip” before even receiving the food makes the whole experience negative from the start. I genuinely enjoy supporting local businesses, but practices like this make me question whether I want to order here again.

Please rethink this aggressive tipping policy — forced gratuity is not hospitality, it is a burden on your customers.“

The chicken had the right balance to the tongue, moist, steamed well and served at room temperature. The three sauces were also well done and balanced. The chicken rice was not overly oily, fragrant, right balance of garlic/pandan leaf. We also got the chashui bento as well and very nice cuts of the pork, well seasoned, not overly sweet with 3 beautiful sides. Would definitely come again. This can compete with the other Hainan chicken establishments in LA/OC (Savoy, Ipoh Kopitiam, Cluck2go), come and give it a try.“
