“A San Francisco treat! Thanks to the folks at Zenlist and the San Francisco Board of Realtors for a special invite after an awesome quick dive into the AI enhanced MLS and the mobile consumer friendly data resources, Hazie's lively atmosphere closed it all with a golden broach -- fun, fun, fun and the libations flowed. Great find for #TheBrokerWithAHeart.
Parking: Loud, but that's expected at a bar and Bingo.“

“I ordered from uber eats, it was supposed to come with a free shrimp salad roll side, but I didn't get it. But I got everything else I paid for, so not a big deal. the red curry steak was very spicy for me but good. chicken also great too. would order again“

“What a surprisingly sweet lunch spot. The food was fantastic and the owner was really friendly and easy to talk to. I had the daily soup and the homemade meatballs - both excellent! Lots of fun signs on the walls too. Don’t let the tvs inside deter you. The owner is more than happy to change the channels (especially for your kiddos) or the mute them.“

“We were surprised and delighted to see a new curry spot open in our favorite old curry spot (Izakaya Roku ?). The serving you get is pretty large and the curry is dark but delicious. If I lived in sf this would absolutely be on my regular dining list.“

“I went for the first time yesterday. I ordered the arepa de pernil and a cocktail. It was amazing! The arepa was very generous and the pernil was tender and full of flavor. The staff was kind and friendly. 10/10 I will definitely be going back.“

“Fantastic food and even better service! Stumbled upon this restaurant and after abysmal service from every other restaurant I’ve tried in SF, we were blown away. The galbi tang was piping hot and so comforting and the pork belly was so delicious. The drinks were very good and also reasonably priced! The highlight of our night was definitely our amazing server Hazel. She was so incredibly sweet and personable and really made everything 10x better. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area.“

“Eat here once and you’re coming back. Eat here twice and you’re family. Best atmosphere in SF, incredible interesting wine list, service that is knowledgeable AND fun/grounded/ entertaining and the food, my god the food! This place just celebrated 23 years in business, they deserve At least 23 more!!!!“

“Great vibe, came for the happy hour burger. Fries were thick cut and crispy. I did wish the burger had some more fresh components (lettuce/raw onion/tomato) but it was juicy and delicious. Server offered to have the burger split on two plates which was nice.“

“Yvette, the owner of Swing Shift, has cooked, owned and managed restaurants, AND has traveled extensively. She has brought those experiences to Swing Swift and created a “Greatest Hits” menu. My favorite? The tacos from Mexico City are to die for! Chicharrones give them texture and the tortillas are sublime. Not your usual CalMex tacos. My wife could live on rice. She fell in love with the 5 Spice Fried Rice. The pork belly is tasty, not fatty. And a fried egg finishes the dish. Yvette’s burger isn’t from her travels, it’s from her chef’s brain. She marries spices and cheese and high quality beef to create a new burger experience. Ya gotta try it! While we were there, a regular customer walked in, the staff greeted him and said, “Gumbo?” “Yes.” “Anything else?” “No.” He’s in there all the time, JUST for the gumbo. It will remind you of New Orleans. On a personal note, my mother and grandmother used to challenge each other to chili cook-offs and both their chilis were superb. Mom, Grandma, don’t let Yvette join the contest. Her chili is that good! My wife liked the wine list and I was surprised to find mock-tails (try the Sour!) that were actually good, and not just a mishmash of ingredients like so many places. And they take reservations….yay!“

“I ordered via grubhub so can't comment on service or atmosphere. But the food was 10/10. I got the hummus, muhammra, falafel. Hummus and Muhammra came with Bite sized pitas. I also got their hot sauce and it was fire!! Loved everything, great for vegetarians too!!“

“Incredible food and amazing service. We loved the food and vibe so much we had our wedding reception in their Private Den for our micro wedding of 24 people! It was so fun and the perfect place. It was our perfect vibe and so aesthetically pleasing! I loved the moody vibes and it perfectly complimented our wedding ideas. Our group was small enough at 24 people so we were able to do a seated dinner with a four course meal. Food was so good and 100% better than a typical catered wedding.
My MOH was able to go in before opening and decorated quickly so it was even more beautiful than usual. The team was able to set up for the dinner and helped us take it down once food and cake were done. We were able to dance the night away and have some delicious drinks! They were so attentive and the staff was constantly coming in to check on us and quickly get us drinks or help us with lighting, switching our Spotify playlist, etc. Stellar team and I know this was the perfect place for us. It’s was an unforgettable night, even after I had one too many drinks celebrating!
I spent weeks looking for an affordable place for after our San Francisco City Hall wedding. All blogs, socials, and reviews told me of dozens of restaurants that for me were ok for a dinner, maybe some dancing. None were perfect or that cost-effective.
Wilder was so beautiful and the staff was so friendly. The owner himself showed me the private den and talked to us while we ate dinner there for our first tasting. He went above and beyond that day and our actual reception. He was the one serving the bar and helping me switch my Spotify playlist. You can tell he cares about the client experience and he is helping us even in the tiny details like that!
Coming here even for dinner you can tell they cultivate a culture of quality experience and food. Having my actual wedding reception here showed me they will pull all the stops for you to have a memorable experience. I will forever remember our night and keep coming back to relive it!
Parking: Lots of street parking even on weekends but there’s a paid parking garage about a block away if it gets hard to find a spot
Kid-friendliness: My kid loved it, had 3 kids under 7 for our Private Den event and they were kept busy the whole night with the game in there and then the dancing. Couch there for when they got sleepy.“

“We travelled from Maryland to experience San Francisco, found this local restaurant within walking distance of our hotel, and decided to give it a try. It was well worth it! The staff was accommodating, attentive and very friendly. The food was exceptional! If you haven’t tried Mediterranean cuisine or love it, this is the place for you!“

“I came here with a friend one day for lunch (we had been looking forward to coming to Sarap Shop for a while and were finally able to align our schedules for a weekday, since the hours here are somewhat limited). I ordered the lechon carbonara since all of the dishes here with lechon appeared to be a popular choice online and this seemed like interesting take on dishes that were familiar to me, a fusion of Italian carbonara and Filipino lechon. To be honest, the dish was a tad too oily and salty for my preferences, but also so tasty! I ended up finishing most of it and bringing the rest home since it was a generous portion and a good balance of toppings/mix-ins and noodles. I'd look forward to ordering it again in the future.
The location was a bit... uncertain at first. Sarap Shop is located down a side street off of 4th St which is convenient if you're heading down to a game or concert. I went there from 3rd St and was a bit confused since it just looked like a residential area, but there it was! The red garage door (see other people's pics) was open so the business was indeed open, but my friend and I were confused at first since there was no one inside and it took a moment to realize we needed to order by QR code online. That was all fine, just a bit unexpected. (Other customers and delivery drivers that came in after us looked similarly confused by all the closed doors and closed serving windows inside, so perhaps they just need better signage for these cases?)
Overall a good experience and I look forward to another visit here and the chance to try something new :)“

“been coming here for years. good and drink are excellent and it's a great location for lunch and a visit to the SF MoMA
expect a line to the counter during rush hour. service folks are great but you order at a counter so the floor staff can get overwhelmed and tricky to flag down depending on where you sit.“

“The choices of vegan ingredients for the dish are great and you will definitely find something you like - veggies, mushrooms, tofu or dumplings! You pay for the weight and therefore are able to create your own dish as you wish, considering the ingredients as well as the volume. There are three vegan soups available and a great variety of toppings that can be refilled as wished. Really nice concept and definitely a recommendation!“

“Amazing flavors and presentation, efficient service. But letting entitled, shameless patrons bring dogs in the restaurant to whine and yap and disturb diners?? Management needs to train staff to stand up to the Karens, bounce dogs, and avoid heath code violations.“

“We've dined here numerous times in the past and have always had a good experience. While the food this time was good per usual, 2 things worked against us having a better experience: 1. our waitress had an attitude and made us feel like she did not want to be there. She made a mistake on the wine order bringing sauvignon blanc instead of cabernet sauvignon, and was generally not welcoming. 2. The cabernet was ice cold! Upon leaving I asked the bartender if this was normal and surprisingly she said yes it was. The house red wines (Daou) came in a keg and were thus refrigerated. She invited us to purchase a bottle of the reserve if we wanted it at the proper temperature. That was a first for us!“

“I’ve never been to Korea so can’t say if it’s authentic, but the tteokbokki is better than all other places in SF that serve this delicious dishIt still has a kick for the non-spicy level but I think it’s what makes it great. Awesome flavor, nice thick sauce. Warmed me up on a really cold day.Pairs really well with Soju. I’m going to be ordering this a lot going forward.Ordered through Uber Eats so going to try and eat it at restaurant next time with the extra cheese.“

“Wonderful texture, and great value for money with too good to go. I got the ube, churro and funnel flavors along with a iced coffee.
Ube: No ube flavor, just the color but still nice
Churro: The best of them all
Funnel cake: A little bitter weirdly
Iced coffee: Way too sweet but refreshing“

“Hard to find with only a small sign in the window. It is located in a coffee bar. The food was good. Order at the counter and food is brought to table. I went with 3 friends and we enjoyed our shared meal. Minus one star because I was overcharged and not given the happy hour price for the item I ordered.“

“The schnitzel is super good. The gravy that comes with it is perfect. The sauce in the SF style hot dog is also super good. They get their gravy and sauces right.

“Balompié is a not so hidden gem in the mission. It has apparently been in the same spot of almost 30 years and somehow this is my first time visiting them. I went here because I wanted pupusas and I was not disappointed. Their pupusas were very tasty and a lot less greasy than some of the pupusas I've had at other places... And the server, Evaline(not sure if that's how you spell it) was very friendly. I will definitely recommend this place and I will return“

“I ordered takeout from Deccan House on a Tuesday evening and was very pleased! The food was fresh and ready at the appointed time. The keema dosa was nice and spicy and the portion was big enough to enjoy again for lunch the next day. The samosas were crisp and tasty, accompanied by fresh chutneys. I’d gladly return to try more of their dishes.
The interior is simple with cozy booths for dining in. Service was very friendly.“
