The Grove Restaurant & Bar Reviews
Top quality breakfast and real barrista coffee. Nice staff.
I really enjoyed the vibe here. Perfect for a lunch date. You order your food, pay at the register, and they give you a number, and you can go sit wherever you want. They servers will find you. My lady and I sat upstairs. I ordered the Crisp Oven Fried Chicken Sandwich and my lady ordered the Roadt Chicken Apple Salad. I also was being a fat ass and ordered a huge chocolate chip cookie and a (I think it was a coffee cake or a crumble, my bad.) But it was good. The cookie was alright,...read full review
4.25 rating. Order at counter to receive food at table with number. Slightly pushy cashier person upselling too much. Fantastic hash browns. Mediocre dry breakfast burrito (adding bacon made it drier somehow). BTW: the burrito came out in less than two minutes which made us feel like maybe it was someone else’s rejected meal! The Grove Restaurant & Bar offers great food and fantastic cocktails, with meals like the Rueben on gluten-free bread, Avocado toast, burger, bacon, hashbrowns, and French toast. The food comes out quick, and the portions are big—two entrees can feed two adults and a child. The atmosphere is cute and nice looking inside, not too rowdy. The staff is friendly and attentive, especially the gentleman at the door who makes recommendations, cracks jokes, and sets the atmosphere. He recommended the watermelon lemonade, which was tasty. The mocha coffee is also a highlight. Consistency is a given, with amazing food and atmosphere even after seven years. This is a counter service restaurant, about a 20-minute walk from the stadium. Highly recommend.
