Absolutely superb dining experience: food (try the duck!), service, ambience! A real find: you must go there soon! Matthew (chef) came out to inquire about my allergies which really shows their commitment to a superior dining event! Wow!
Pretty empty on an early Saturday night, and had only just started to fill tables when I left at 7:00. Definitely has a hotel restaurant vibe, but there are splashes of French brasserie character. I did the prix fixe menu with the wine pairing: - onion soup gratinée (scalding, like all french onion soup, and not particularly remarkable) - 6oz prime hanger (might have been a tad under depending on your definition of medium-rare, and the pommes frites were nothing to write home...read full review

La Société is located inside the Hyatt Regency SOMA's first floor. It's a cute and quaint French restaurant. Service was amazing and staff were professional. Would make a cute date night spot. We got the Ahi Tuna tartare, the steak tartare, deviled caviar eggs, duck la'orange, pork shop, hangar steak and some other items. Overall food was good, but could have been hotter. The French baguette was fresh and the pâté was good but on the sweeter side.
