I just want to say that the asparagus quiche was literally the best quiche I've had in my life. Its overall impact on my psyche is honestly equivalent to that of Matisse's Femme au Chapeau.
Food is good but limited choices. Service is great. Great coffee.
Had a wonderful experience at Cafe 5 last week! The dark haired young woman with the hoop earrings at the register was super sweet. She recommended the chocolate hazelnut pastry (which was lovely!) and was very warm and helpful. Will definitely be coming back!

The atmosphere is great, and the service is noted as good, although the staff didn't seem that happy. The menu features a range of tempting options, including the Croque Madame, which is described as quite large, and a salmon rice bowl and an oyster mushroom sandwich, both delicious and so tasty. The Basil Panzanella salad was highlighted as an outstanding entree that impressively made even zucchini taste great. The burrata with brulled oranges and the vegetable tian are also highlighted as excellent, fresh, and creative dishes. While the restaurant can be a bit pricey, it is a great option for visitors to the museum, especially for families enjoying the best chicken tenders and a great ham and cheese croissant. Overall, it has a thoughtful design that makes it a nice spot for a meal.
