Canyon Cafe Reviews
I had a blast on the dance floor , this past Saturday!! #rockon
My parents and I had breakfast at Canyon Creek inside Cache Creek Casino. My parents ordered the corned beef hash, and I ordered the waffles with ham.
The service was good, and our food arrived quickly. However, my waffles were very dense and tough to chew. I can’t really comment on the corned beef hash since I didn’t try it. Overall, the service was fine, but the food was disappointing.
Although they have a good service and atmosphere is very good too. I am not satisfied with the food I order which is a Filipino dish, the tocino is very dried and the taste is not freshly cooked, it’s taste like an old food. I frequently eat here I ordered the same stuff, but this time I was surprised to the taste of the dish I ordered, it’s very different from the past.

Canyon Cafe, located inside Cache Creek Casino in Brooks, CA, offers a delightful dining experience. With good service, delicious American and Filipino dishes, and reasonable prices, this restaurant is a hidden gem. The large portions of food, including Tocilog, Longsilog, and sinigang, cater to everyone's taste. Even with a sparse ambiance, the attentive and friendly servers make the visit enjoyable. Waiters are being semi replaced with robots that bring out food on trays. The Cherry pepper pork chop was over seasoned - very salty, but the side asparagus and mashed potatoes is good. The Grilled Ribeye Steak with seasonal vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, and mushroom gravy was almost cooked perfectly, moist, seasoned good, and wasn't overdone at all. The green beans were sautéed just right, and very garlicky. The mashed potatoes is silky smooth. The consistency, flavor, and texture of the mushroom gravy reminds of Beef Stroganoff. They also serve Filipino breakfast, with ToSiLog cooked crispy with spiced vinegar for dipping, and the BangSiLog is so awesome.
