Market City was around for 27years. Yeah I know that the last year things weren't that great but if you've been in the business this long then you know you were doing something right. Now a days businesses come and go and sometimes don't even last a year and here's a business that was in Burbank for 27 years! What a loss! The brunches were fantastic, the bread divine, and the ravioli a guaranteed treat for the taste buds. I was first introduced by a waitress that I had a crush on decades ago, but it was always a reliable spot for a good Italian meal in Burbank. I'm not sure why it went away. It's easy to blame landlords in this day and age, but I'll miss it deeply. I hope everyone involved lands somewhere else OK, but I have to admit that my main concern is the fate of the cow!

So very sad that this restaurant has closed. I began my MCC experience at the Pasadena location and continued at Burbank when Pasadena closed. I loved everything about this restaurant... my favorite was to meet friends for Sunday brunch... the food was fresh, the Mimosas endless and the string quartet played anything and everything beautifully, Lovely afternoon, always felt like I was in Italy.....or a very artsy Burbank. RIP Market City Cafe! You will be sorely missed.
