Curry Hyuga is a cozy restaurant with a simple menu offering generous portions of delicious curry plates. The friendly service ensures a quick and easy dining experience, although reservations are recommended due to its small size. The attention to detail in the selection of chili powders makes the meal simply delicious, and customers can adjust their own "heat" at the table. This place is described as no-nonsense, cheap, and cheerful, offering hearty and satisfying meals that keep customers coming back for more. The ambiance is fun, and the place stays full even late on weekends.
Customers praise the dark, flavorful curry, with the option to add mixed vegetables for a colorful meal. The pork tonkatsu is a popular dish, though it can be slightly overcooked at times. The corn potage soup and teppangi chicken are also well-received. Customers appreciate the efficient service, with the ability to order additional items like potato salad at the push of a button. The restaurant is known for its authentic Japanese curry, with the menu noting the curry is cooked for around 6 hours. Overall, Curry Hyuga provides a great dining experience with delicious, hearty meals at affordable prices.
