“I got lost in the turnarounds just off the freeway. I wound up driving 10 miles out of the way to find out there were two turnarounds. When you get off the freeway, you get on the first turnaround, go under the freeway and take the first exit on the second turnaround. It was so confusing. You could wind up doing a figure 8 for a few minutes. I went on a Monday and it seemed like nobody was there. It was very windy, and hardly nobody in the parking lot. The interior of Morongo was beautiful. It was nice, cool, and clean. I won $2000 in the first 15 minutes. The staff was professional and very polite. I stayed about 30 minutes and went to Fantasy Springs Casino. Next time, I will spend more time at Morongo. One of them had a bowling alley. I will bowl next time out.“

“Fantastic food. Loved the refried beans. Came back a year later since I don't live in the area. The food is still great. I had that humongous Margarita again .....and I'm feeling it. This time I had Las Marias enchiladas. Great way to sample the green, red, and mole enchilada. I couldn't make up my mind which one I liked best. My husband ate the same thing as last time. The chicken fajitas. The man is very consistent with what he likes. The enchiladas were great because there was no beans or rice which would have been too much food. Service was outstanding. Love the employees. The large
margarita gave me a serious buzz.“

“It's dive bar although you can't quite see through the cracks in the or walls. Great bartender and there is a pool table. I didn't use the bathroom but everything seemed clean. No food--not even a jar of pickled eggs or bags of snacks easily bought from Cosco. I would go back but $9 for a beer just doesn't work for me. In California, the cost of things makes for a standing invitation to stay at home.“

“Shauna was just awesome. Our first time here on a Sunday in quite a long time. And we are used to our regular servers. But oh my gosh, Shauna was a complete new breath of fresh air. She really watched out for her customers. We ordered a meal, but with something left off and the cook messed the order up. And she came back and apologized and said she was having them make it correctly. She was zooming all around to make sure everyone got their orders. She really does take of her customers. We will be looking for Shauna in the future. And if Shauna is reading this, thank you for your kind words and your great customer service.“
