I love supporting a family owned vineyard and winery in Napa - I couldn't recommend the wonderful experience here more! As we pulled in, the owner, an 87 year old farmer was working in the fields and greeted us with a wave - if that doesn't tell you about the quality of vineyard I don't know what does! Rick was well versed in the Napa region, being a local himself, and just a general appreciation for the craft that his family has for winemaking. Storybook winery has a picturesque location and a beautiful setting, just north of Calistoga. The winery is family owned and we had our tasting guided by Colleen, who is a co-owner of the winery.The wines, specifically their Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon were some of the best we had on this trip, which we got to taste in one of their wine caves. Highly recommend a visit to this winery

Story is incredible. The wine tour I can't recommend enough. Rick showed us the winery, the caves and even let us taste a grape! He taught us a ton about wine making, and about the type of family owned, no compromising winery Storybook is. We felt this strategy translates to their delicious wines. It's so much better than the more commercial wineries.
