Although the restaurant was pretty empty I thought it was good. They were out of a few things like the albondigas soup. The chips and salsa were good. I heard they use to not serve those. I got a shrimp empanada as an appetizer and I liked it. The enchilada plate was good. The bartender was attentive and refilled my coke a couple of times. so my boyfriend and I went the Saturday before Valentine's Day (2/10) and we were worried because we saw really mixed reviews but we decided to go anyways to try it out. The restaurant is gorgeous it's nicely remodeled and colorful-the lighting and decor is unique. I'm mexican so I really appreciate the theme of the restaurant and the effort put into it. First visit to this restaurant was a very pleasant experience. It features a very lively black & white lite bar with stylized Mexican icons such as skull heads, decorative hearts and bones. Very unique and adds charm and humor to the ambiance. Good sized seating area with comfortable booths and also different sized tables to accommodate a variety of groups of customers.
