The Corvettes of Bakersfield visited Cambria Pines Lodge on Sunday, July 9th for a lovely brunch in the garden room. We had 15 cars and a group of 30. We were welcomed by Angel, who took some group pics for us and led us to a perfectly set room ready to accommodate our group! Everyone enjoyed the mimosas and bloody Mary’s as well as our brunch choices. Our servers were attentive and did a great job! The Cambria Pines Lodge Restaurant offers a cozy and warm atmosphere, with a spacious parking lot and a bar area featuring a fireplace and live music. While the restaurant's atmosphere is beautiful, the vinyl tablecloths are noticeably dated. The menu provides a variety of options, including the highly enjoyed Chicken Piccata, prepared with capers, artichoke, and a delicious creamy sauce, accompanied by fresh and well-prepared mashed potatoes and a vegetable side. The Filet Mignon is also very good, and the Crème Brûlée is fantastic. The daily specials are always delicious and picture-perfect.
For breakfast, the continental-style offerings include scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, and coffee, providing a great way to start the day. Outdoor dining offers a scenic atmosphere, and the service is fantastic, with staff accommodating special requests. The pan-seared scallops are a must-try, as they are perfectly cooked, tender, and served on wilted greens with a creamy mushroom sauce.
