“Would probably give this place a 4.5/5 if we could, but half stars aren’t allowed. A very unique place with nothing similar to it in the area. Have been a few times in the past and there’s a lot of hit or miss on food/beverage, though this time it was overall very good. Service is a 5/5, there are an absolute TON of employees and they are amazing at what they do.. one never feels without service. Atmosphere is upscale country barnyard, and we thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations for large groups.Peach nectarine hard cider 5/5Outrigger beer 3.5/5Chicken sando 4/5 (fries wayyyy too salty)Caesar salad 4.5/5Chicken tenders 3.5/5 (could be crispier)Berry cobbler 5/5Rotating beverage menu, semi-permanent food menu from what we can tell. Will for sure be back! For local reviews or travel content you can find us on Instagram @sunsetourist“
“Great neighborhood brewery tucked in the corner at Green Valley and Francisco Boulevards. Inside is cozy with high tables, a few TVs and snacks. Large patio outside with patio and picnic tables. This place is consistently good. They have a great selection of beers on tap including ales, lagers, sours and also usually carry at least one seltzer and kombucha. On the weekends they have live music events and food trucks, although there are quite a few restaurants nearby for takeout that you can bring in food to eat.“

“I specifically dropped in over the weekend for the prime rib special. I was hankering for prime rib. I know… BJs ain’t a steakhouse. So how good is the prime rib? Well, it was not bad at all. It was tasty with simple, classic flavors. It wasn’t amazing, earth shattering delicious nor awful.BJ only offers prime rib on Fridays and Saturdays after 4 pm and all day on Sunday. For $35, you get a 15 oz cut with soup or salad, two sides and a pizookie. I ordered the meat cooked medium rare with a green salad and sides of a baked potato and pencil asparagus. The green salad was a larger than expected serving size. It looked and tasted fresh. The meat came out cooked a perfect medium rare. It was super tender. Simple, tasty classic flavors. Keeping it old school and simple. The au jus and creamy horseradish could have been jazzed up a bit more as well. I had to remind myself to save room for dessert. I ordered the brownie sundae pizookie. Warm brownie pizookie topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Mmm. It was gorgeous. Decadently delicious… sugar overload! That brownie was darn good.Hubs had a mini pepperoni pizza. It was pan baked, giving it a buttery flaky crust. He enjoyed it. But complained about the size and price. It was kids size (not from the kids menu) and was priced close to $16.Our server was Lucas, he was an outstanding server. Great attitude and very on point. He was training another server, Jordan. They both were great. But overall, the restaurant was understaffed and unable to seat everyone right away even though there was ample seating. So that’s great that they are training more staff.“

“This place is everything you want in a neighborhood brewery! First and foremost, Dan and Kate quickly become family to the locals. Their passion and love for the environment they create (not to mention the incredible beer selection!!!) makes you want to “shop local”. Highly highly highly recommend!“
