“I first discovered Maneatingplant at a Yelp event for Topanga Social a few weeks ago. It was the first establishment I got to try for the evening, and sampled their amazeballs garlic noodles. It was so memorable, that tonight, a few weeks later, I made the trek in the horrid rain, all the way from my home in Marina Del Rey, just to have them again! Yes, SO good, it's worth the trip. It's a relatively simple dish, but so are simple cheese slices at some of the best pizza places in the world. The garlic noodles are bomb! This time around, I got to try the musubi. Most people know that for Hawaiians, this is a staple dish, and while this is a vegan version, got my Hawaiian stamp of approval. So good, I had to have two. I also got to try the Sichuan Steamies, essentially their mushroom dumplings. Very solid, and what I love most about them, like all the dishes here, is the guilt-free dining that will keep my cardiologist happy. Happy to keep coming back here! Also have to give a shoutout to Carlos, who took care of me tonight. He prepared everything to perfection, and even got me to discover a love for their chili oil...... I put it on everything, even the ice-cream I had later at a different place.“
“I crave their ube malted crunch. It's perfectly creamy. Texture is velvety and luscious simply melting on your tongue. You'll have to turn your spoon upside down to get the full bite. The cold contrast with the added malt balls give a bite of airy Carmel sort of taste, just perfect. One scoop is plenty but if you're feeling daring go for the two! If you can handle two you may just be able to adventure into three.“
“Who doesn't like a good margarita?! And better yet, a day solely dedicated to "margaritas!" Welcome to "Margarita Monday" people!!! The Margarita Garden Bar is located at the front entrance inside Topanga Social. They have a set menu of pre-made margs but freshly prepared, not mixes, for 50% off. Something for all margarita aficionados. Michelle was our bartender and I ordered the Social Marg with blood orange & bit of agave, no salt ($7 - normally $14) it was perfect. One was all I needed! Met up with some of my favorite Yelpers which made the experience even better! Plenty of food to choose from to go with your margarita! *I highly recommend stippling by any night!!! I really like it here!!“
“They don't play around with their drinks! I'm a light drinker but having one strawberry whiskey sour already gets me a little buzzed. I don't normally drink whiskey sours at all, ever, but the flavor of this one is very good! The bar is right in the middle of topanga social with plenty of bar seating since it goes all the way around but also tons of regular seating in general with tables. I haven't had anything else catch my eye from here. I mainly drink fruity or tiki style drinks but this spot is great! Happy hour daily till 7pm, one of the workers even took our orders and delivered them to our table! She was very sweet and love that they do that here. IG: @ammysalamii“

“Gourmet food court with a relevant bar. How can it go wrong? It doesn't. Everything I've tried so far is top notch, inventive, and delicious. Incredible pizza from D Town, and great sushi from Temaki. And I'm a sushi snob. Downside is that it's all kind of pricey, but it's worth it.“
