“What a great new place!! We absolutely loved it!! The owners and staff were amazing. The food was delicious.
We had the most divine scallops with a light and unique flavor. The scallops We so fresh. Really a perfect bite which we paired with a delicious baked pear salad. The pear appeared to be poached in red wine. Beautiful and delicious sitting on top of lightly dressed arugula and topped with goat cheese. You really need to try this as my description doesn't do it justice.
The beef tartar was also very good.
We finished off with truffles for dessert. I'm not going to try to describe them.. they were YUMMY!! See my photos to see how beautiful they are then drop by and order them!!
Oh and they have a great wine selection.“

“My daughter and I ate at Lola’s when we came to town because my niece said they are the best. She was not wrong! I make my own birria and have eaten it at several places. Lola’s is amazing. The quesabirria tacos were full of meat, the perfect amount of cheese and the consommé is delicious. The rice was good and the pinto beans are as good as homemade. Their pre meal salsa is excellent too. The service was fast and polite. The server refilled our glasses and checked in us without being overly hovering. The restaurant is clean inside and the patio is so pretty with the potted bougainvillea’s. I’ll be back to get the authentic goat birria soon!“

“Upscale dining experience right in our own backyard! This will definitely be our new date night spot. Instead of driving to LA or SD, this great spot is right down the street from us. Recommend to make reservations as the wait time can be 2hrs+, which tells you a lot about this place! The owners/chefs personally come and deliver your food. So much creativity is shown in food presentation. I love it!“

“We hadn't been there for awhile. Our meals were excellent tonight! In the past, it was not so good. We had Baramundi (sea bass?), braised short ribs, and Alfredo. All 3 were prepared very well, and tasted great. Nice server and clean restaurant. Rules have changed. Be sure to have your Canyon Lake ID with you. It's required now for dining.“
