This place is the real deal. Amazing food, homemade tortillas. Will be back for sure! $Cash Only$UPDATE: Came back here in May 2024 and everything was as good as I remember. Had the tacos: fish, shrimp, and al pastor. All are served on homemade tortillas, made fresh daily, al pastor on a red tortilla, the seafood on green tortillas. Absolute perfection! My favorite is the shrimp: bathed in a spicy, smoky sauce, is unlike any shrimp taco I've ever had and absolutely incredible!...
Why did nobody tell me about this place sooner!? Best kept secret in Santa Cruz! And my new favorite taqueria in town. My only problem is I rarely have cash on me so I’ll have to plan ahead since they are cash only. AMAZING SHRIMP TACOS ?
A little neighborhood gem. Good food and pleasant staff. The courtyard is small but inviting, and the location in a semi- residential area makes the atmosphere relaxed. For what it is, a pretty basic taqueria, it's well worth it. As noted in other reviews, payment is cash only.
