My niece brought me a 2 taco plate from here today (first time customer) and I have to say it was great, the beef tacos were good but a little of the red sauce made them amazing. I love beans and theirs were very good. Now I don't normally like Mexican rice as it's always too dry but theirs surprised me and was great, I ate every bite of the meal and was very satisfied.I see some negative reviews about this location in particular but I will be trying it again, don't know if I...read full review

I live in the area, and I love the food at this LourdesIt's just a taco shop, but the food here is very tasty. You can taste that the proteins are well seasoned. I think they're family owned and ran. You can tell, both the cashier's and kitchen, care a little bit more than the typical taco shop/truck.Lastly, the food is very fairly priced, and with more than fair portions. Every time I have visited Lourdes, I have been 100% satisfied. .

Literally the best Mexican food spot in San Diego, and believe me I've tried many. Now that's saying something, there are many great Mexican food spots in Carlsbad alone, but non can top king Lourdes. I ordered a surf and turf burrito while my wife ordered shredded beef tacos with rice and beans. We were blown away, the steak on my burrito was seasoned to perfection and melts in your mouth and the shrimp was outstanding.
