We were departing on a cruise and stopped here to pick up wine and some other items prior to boarding the cruise ship. The selection of wine was amazing and the prices were excellent.Most cruise lines will let you bring wine on board with some limits, and most will cork it for you in the dining room for a charge, but works out about half the price to bring on board, and you get to pick your specific wine. This review is not about a restaurant. I'm commenting on the location of Ralph's Supermarket. I'm not a resident of San Diego, but travelers might be interested in shopping at a reasonable and well stocked Supermarket. It's a rarity to find a supermarket in the downtown area of a large city. Feels weird writing a review on a Supermarket but wanted to highlight there is one a short walk from the Gaslamp quarter. Everything you expect from a supermarket as well as a great selection of freshly cooked goods and amazing looking desserts. but being from the UK I mainly came here to stock up on American Chips and Candy to take home!
