We had dinner at Catch last night and we were so thoroughly impressed with our experience. Dennis and all the rest of the staff were so wonderful. They made sure we were well taken care of. The food was delicious. We both got pasta items and they were made to perfection. The restaurant wasn't overly loud; the environment was relaxing and made for an enjoyable evening. I would definitely recommend coming to Catch!

Yikes, honestly I'm not usually this harsh but this food was surprisingly bad. Granted I got take out, and we only got one seafood item, so maybe the other food is better but what we got lacked flavor, innovation, and freshness of ingredients. We ordered foods we thought might travel decently since we were hoping to eat our food at the beach at sunset; a pizza, burger and fish and chips. We got a Mediterranean pizza, that had artichokes, olives, and tomatoes with tomato sauce and mozerella cheese. The sauce had zero flavor, the dough was fat and doughy, and the ratio of toppings to dough was all wrong. The tomatoes on the pizza were not good, they lacked flavor and had bad mealy texture, the artichokes were obviously out of a can or jar and tasted sour and otherwise flavorless. I had hoped given how close they are to artichoke fields they'd have decent ones but I was sorely mistaken. I'm not going to lie, I was almost angry at how bad it was, felt like a waste of money and calories. The burger was bland and boring, as were the fries. The fish and chips was also bland, the breading was not crispy and the fries tasted like they had been sitting around and didn't have enough salt. The only reason I am not giving this place 1 star is because all the staff I interacted with while waiting for my order were friendly and considerate. The interior looked nice enough and is very conveniently located, the outdoor area is also heated and cutely decorated. If they had decent food they would have something going for them but unfortunately they do not.

If you like garlic and shrimp, then the roasted garlic and shrimp pizza is a must try. It was one of the best pizzas I've had, and I can't wait to have it again next time I'm in town.

Had Sandabs here and I love Sandabs and this was everything I expected. They were nice buttery pan seared with mashed potatoes and veggies. Service was great and I have nothing bad to say about it. I'll be back

Reservations scheduled through OpenTable. Arrived and greeted with friendly smiles and were seated right away. Cute place and very it was packed! Great music playing overhead. Oysters on the half shell were so delicious and fresh. My husband's pizza was very tasty. The Sea Bass was amazing. I had it with potatoes au gratin and veggies which was perfect accompaniment along with a nice glass of Pinot Grigio.
I was here tonight with a longtime customer and advocate of catch. The owner was terrible. Simply put., I felt completely isolated and discriminated as a woman. I was at his restaurant with a long time customer and he basically kicked us out of our table. I can't even begin to explain the disrespect and harassment he gave to me. He's a terrible human being and it's not a surprise that his business failed. Only feel sorry for his employees who probably had much more abuse than his customers.

Exceptional restaurant AGAIN! Catch is our new favorite restaurant in Carmel by the Sea. Our server Florencio provided outstanding service. He pampered us the entire evening. Dennis and Mario also do an exceptional job caring and serving the customers! We both felt like we were really valued and they were happy to serve us. This was our second time to this restaurant and quality, service, tasty food, ambiance and value are at the highest level again. There are a lot of wonderful restaurant options in Carmel by the Sea, but Catch is our one restaurant we never want to miss when we visit. Thank you Florencio, Dennis and Mario for making our experience exceptional and filled with a lot of wonderful memories. We really look forward to a return visit!

From the minute you walk in the door until the time you depart the overall experience was excellent. The staff is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and the food was wonderful. It is now on our list of top choices when deciding where to go for dinner.

Service, ambiance, food & the entirety of the place is great! My husband and I were just walking around the streets of Carmel trying to get seated somewhere for dinner. Fortunately, they just started taking in guests when we pass by their restaurant and got seated right away. You first get greeted with champagne and a small dollop of caviar (WHO DOES THAT?) and then they also serve bread with dipping sauce (vinaigrette & EVOO) which is also so good and fresh and then ordered Frito Misto for apps which is SOOOOO GOOD!! (Portion was great also) Their pasta list isn't very extensive which I appreciate because they each dish they list on their menu is made with love and care. I ordered Fresh spaghetti with clams instead of linguine (they only have spag opt if you want another pasta alternative, and it's freshly made ;)] Hubby ordered surf and turd and he was so pleased with the quality of the meat and the lobster! The portions were great! Not too big not too small! Just perfect! I would definitely come back and will totally recommend to my friends & fam when they go to Carmel!! Love love love! Ps. We got a sweet treat from a lovely musician who came and serenaded everyone in the restaurant!
