“Everything I've tried here is fantastic. They give you very generous portions for a great price! Super nice people who own and run it. Even after moving farther away we still drive to get it! All their hummus flavors are delicious, such a cute hidden gem!“

“I usually don't come into a place 15 mins before they close but I did tonight and I really appreciate that they didn't seem put out about it. I was somewhat familiar with what I wanted and the guy at the counter patiently answered my questions. Very good food and very good service.“

“Amazing foood!!! I tried their Arabian shawarma meal, it was awesomely delicious! The owner is a friendly guy. I would highly recommend them. The only thing I didn’t like was that their bathroom seemed to be closed and they didn’t have forks on counter. Other than that, it’s a great place to check out. I’ll be coming to try their other menu items out.?“

“I absolutely love this food truck!! I have to limit how often I eat here so I don't burn myself out, but I eat here about once a week. Very generous portions of incredibly delicious food. Super nice wonderful warm people in the truck. Absolute perfection in my book!“

“This is my husband's go to spot whenever he goes into the office. He always raves about their gyro salad, so I had to try for myself. Upon ordering, service was super quick! If you're in a pickle of time and want something delicious and hearty--this place is the way to go. We ordered their salad! Initial thought of their salad was that it was huge! I really thought I wouldn't be able to finish it, but I did. It was that good. The blend of flavors really meshes well, and it doesn't leave you feeling to bleh at the end. A right amount of everything. The tzatziki sauce was a great touch to the vinaigrette dressing. A little on the pricier side, but still think it's worth it.“

“I recently visited Cali Gyro, and it was amazing! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were so friendly. The gyro platter I had was delicious, with tender meat and flavorful tzatziki sauce. They offer a variety of other Mediterranean dishes too. If you're craving some tasty Greek food, Cali Gyro is the place to go!“

“Fast and fresh. I was amazed on how every ingredient was fresh and delicious. Salad was very crispy and the kabobs were grilled with just a slight char. The little things such as olives, side sauces and a lemon wedge reflects the restaurant going above and beyond to make your meal complete. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.“

“Most amazing Gyro i've ever had... Tender tasty meat lots of produce amazing garlic yogurt sauce with a fresh pita. Much much bigger than any yro i've had and much better, too. I got the combo with the salad and drink. It came out to $16 which is about the same price as a big Mac meal. But much healthier and tastier. The salad was phenomenal, and there were lots of fresh produce cucumbers. Tomatoes, onion's lettuce with great sauce and big portions.“

“Okay...so I have been hearing about this place called Nick The Greek and I love Mediterranean food AND as it so happens, one opened right around the corner of my home. It is located on the corner near Sunrise and Madison in Fair Oaks. The manager (Alexis) was very helpful with choices and made my experience most enjoyable. The food was outstanding(I had the Lamb/Beef wrap and my wife had the Chicken wrap) both equally delicious. The service was on spot on and the people were friendly. It has indoor and outdoor seating. So, if you are in the area and hungry for some excellent Greek food. Check this place out. You won't be disappointed.“

“The service was great and the guy helping me order was super nice and helpful when I picked my order. I got the mixed fries with lamb and chicken. The chicken is slightly spicy because it's marinated in some red spicy sauce. The lamb and chicken were both super moist and really nice. The sauces on top were super good and even though the sauce was all over, the fries weren't soggy and still crisp. I eat a lot and I barely finished the fries. You could easily feed two with one fry order. (I took the picture after I had already taken some bites, it looked a lot prettier than this)“
“First off, this is an amazing place. A gem indeed. This is actual cooking, a singular enterprise by one owner, and that certainly deserves respect in a town whose food scene is being regularly bought out by investors that treat their businesses as just that, an investment, and not an addition to the neighborhood & culture. Yes, it is a small place, and in a nook which really only immediate locals usually end up at, easy to miss. But also simply perfect when you'd like to feel less-than-bombarded in a town with half a million people where much of the homey-ness is missing. It has a familiar ambiance that also feels well-traveled, with a nautical feel. The service is on point! The owner is super friendly & generous. It is never awkward to pick up to go here. My only alternative input would be to get more sustainable containers for to-go purposes. Enough about the place, more about the food, which is a welcome and unique style in the Sacramento Greek food scenery. The options are simple, ample, and easily suited to different dietary needs & preferences (gluten-free, vegetarian, no cheese for vegan). The go-to for my friends is the Lamb Gyro, which is truly deserving of the term Gigantic. The proportions of filling are not finely cut or chopped, adding to the hugeness of the gyro, which is more like an entire pita bread with at least 1-2 cucumbers and a huge portion of perfectly marinated protein. Being vegan, I enjoyed the dolmathes, hummus, beans, & of course the massive pillowy pita bread, which is insanely better than the kind I've found at the store, it's super fresh. Definately if you're in the area & passing by, try it out. Just check the hours first!“

“Little place that mostly does delivery and hall rental plus catering. The staff mostly are Muslim, but I think they might be Afghan, because they knew little English, and didn't respond well to Arabic, French, Persian, or Greek. Dine-in was very limited, but the food was great. It mostly Greek, Arabic, and Mediterranean in substance. Probably hallal, but I didn't see that explicitly stated anywhere.Great food, not up to serving diners on site. We had to ask to get water, and they gave us bottled water. We ordered tea and had to ask for it several times. Still nice people, just very limited English. Moderately recommend. Order ahead, and get the food to go. Don't eat on site.“

“I have wanted to try this place for years. Can't help but to notice it with the unique architecture. Located on the corner of Folsom and Bradshaw a local treasure. Decisions decisions.... decided for it being my first time to try the signature pita of course. Rice bowl and waffle fries (loaded) looked good too! I ordered the chicken pita. They have white or wheat pitas, and even vegan options on the menu. Veggies were all very fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed my pita. The staff was all very friendly, and the lady packing my pita gave menu recommendations, too. I will be back. Don't be like me and just drive past for years. Stop in and have a bite. The outside/shopping center looks a bit run down as garbage all out especially near the liquor store. But Pita Q was very clean and fresh ingredients inside. Also have a very cute outdoor seating area with patio cover and plants to add to a nice ambience on a nice day. Updated menu photos attached as of 4/16/2024.“

“A great friendly, local place. Food was good, menu simple without frills (only dessert option is baklava and ice cream - but oh so good!). Staff was very friendly. It's a bit tight in space, but they fit in the tables (we had a wheelchair amongst us and was easy to navigate). Live games on TV at bar. Live belly dancers on Friday. A group of 5 for dinner - appetizers (best dolmathes in years, spanakopita was good too), salads, grilled plates, several beers & wine glasses, and awesome baklava ice cream, $178 plus tip. No complaints, I'll go back when in town again.“
